Google Ball Pit

A developer team at Google had an 8-bit logo that they wanted produced as a ball pit for their office lobby. The project was mounted to 6 plexi glass panels so that it could be moved if needed.

It took a bit ingenuity to figure out the best technique to achieve the ball pit affect. First, we filled standard ball pit balls with expanding foam. This allowed for them to be cut into different thicknesses with a bandsaw. This ultimately helped achieve a more organic, layered appearance.
